Jinex PIB plant， with a designed capacity of 30.000 MT/Y was build in 2000. PIB plant was successfully started up at one go in November 2000. The international-level PIB products produced by the plant have filled a gap that no high quality PIB was produced in China at that time.

  The PIB plant, brought in the most advanced technology of  Infineum, has concentrated all the technical advantages of Infineum PIB plants  around the world. Both American and Chinese design standards and regulations and codes on safety and environmental protection were adopted,meeting the requirements for intrinsic safety and discharge limits.Critical equipment and raw materials were purchased from abroad. Most of the electric equipment and pipelines are directly imported. The whole plant is being controlled by the DeltaV DSC control system, which contributes to stable process control and high automatization. According to the process features of PIB and the actual status of DCS system, 15 sets of reliable on-line analyzers have been installed, thus the on-line monitoring network including raw material supply system, process control system, environment monitoring and safety assurance system has been formed.

The PIB plant is adjcent to one of Jinex's  parent companies—PetroChina Jinzhou Branch, who provides the plant with sufficient high quality raw materials as well as  stable utilities. Meanwhile, shareholder of foreign party,Infineum greatly supports the company on technology, and carries out supervision and technical exchanging on PIB plant condition monthly. Their technical experts periodically visit  the plant and bring about advanced process technology experience of golbal Infineum.The company's  professional staffs are trained periodically. We will continuously devote to reserch and development of new products to improve oPIB plant competivitiveness.

  The PIB plant has well-experienced experts and proficienct operational personnel, who are trained professionally on their skills and operation. For years of practice, the company has set up a set of sound quality control system: PIB product has obtained the certificate of ISO9001-2000 and Infineum SQAP and Infineum trademark using permission. The company took environmental protection into serious consideration and passed ISO14000-2004 audit at first attempt.
