Jinzhou Jinex Lubricant Additives Co., Ltd. (Jinex), found in Oct.1995, is a joint venture between PetroChina Company Limited and Infineum Netherlands  Holdings B.V. with total investment over 43, 000,000 US dollars and registered capital of 19, 000,000 US dollars. Jinex mainly  provides customers with high quality crankcase lubricant additives packages, viscosity index improver and polyisobutene (PIB)  products to meet the increasing demands of both international and domestic markets for medium and high quality lubricants, raw materials of additives, 2T oil, cable oil and so on.  At present, Jinex PIB plant, with an  designed production capacity of  30,000 mT, is the largest PIB manufacturer in lubricant additives industry in China.

PetroChina Company Limited， a large petroleum and chemical company, ranks first among the three largest state-owned petroleum & petrochemical groups in China. Infineum, a joint venture  between EXXON-MOBIL and SHELL, with each party holding 50% shares, ranks second in global lubricant additives manufacturing and marketing. Both EXXON-MOBIL and SHELL are leaders in the global petrochemical industry.
Jinex, located at No.2 Chongqing Road, Guta Distric, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, China, with 97 staffs, is the first ever lubricant additives joint venture in China. Jinex PIB properties are obviously superior to other lubricant additives products made in China. The products have been exported to Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Philippines etc. The export volume has been ranked as the top exporter in the Jinzhou City. Jinex has won many international business against Daelim, BP and other world famous lubricant additives companies in the global markets. Now, Jinex has  more than half of  domestic market share. It ranks first in terms of domestic sales volume and export sales volume in  lubricant additives industry in China.

Jinex is the first lubricant additives joint venture  in China, who passed ISO9002 Certification in Dec.1997. From 1999 to 2001, Jinex has been awarded “Advanced Financial Management Joint Venture for foreign affairs in Jinzhou” for three times; “Advanced accumulation Fund Group” annually since 2001; certified as "Infineum Global Analysis System" in Dec.2003;  “Advanced statistic report foreign invested company” in 2004; “ Star Company in 2005” honored by Guta District Government of Jinzhou City in February 2006; “Ten Best  Industrial Company in 2005” honored by Jinzhou government in February 2006.
